Great Wineries for YOU to Visit at Niagara-On-The-Lake!

There are so many reasons to take a day trip to the Niagara region, with great attractions, the gorgeous waterfall and many different activities for all ages! However, my absolute favourite area to visit are the wineries at Niagara-on-the-lake! There are so many and each are beautiful and transport you to a gorgeous world of wine! Here is a review of the few wineries I visited on my recent trip! 

We started our day with a visit to Lakeview Winery, the grounds were breathtaking, and the staff was very accommodating and informative! There was so much on the wine list to choose for your tasting! I tried 4 different wines and the rose and ice wines were my favourites, while everything was great, I would definitely say to opt for the white ice wine, the red was a bit too tart for my liking! 

Next we went over to The Hare Wine and Co. This winery was by far my favourite for the entire day, the service was amazing, we were a little late and they were extremely nice and fit us in, our server was so sweet! He was making us laugh, giving us so much advice on which wines we would like and how to best taste and experience the wine! We ended up trying a sparkling wine, a resling, a rose and an icewine! Every single wine we had was so tasty! We bought the sparkling and rose to take home, it was so light, refreshing and delicious! The building and the entire ambiance of this winery is beautiful and rustic it is so gorgeous and feels like its right out of Italy! Definitely up this winery at the top of your list!

Our next stop was Konzelmannn, this winery looks like a legit castle! It is so gorgeous and has a patio to die for! I will definitely be visiting their outdoor patio on my next visit! We went inside and checked in for our wine tasting visit, our tasting took place in a nice cellar room! We tried three wines including their famous peachwine! The peachwine was definitely the highlight of the entire visit, it is a medium-dry wine and is full of flavour! We bought two bottles of the peachwine and one was used to make sangria which was so tasty, totally my favourite way to use it! Their icewine is also great! 

Another winery we visited was, Between the lines, this is the best bang for your buck, you get to taste five wines for one price! The service here was also amazing, everyone was so friendly and informative about the wine they were serving! We allowed our server to choose the types of wines we tasted for a different experience, the wine was great and had a really good variety of flavours! 

The last winery we visited was called De Simone, this was a great place to end our wine tasting trip, it had a great vibe and was a good place to have an impromptu visit! It has a very beautiful vineyard and their benches were set up right next to the vineyard! 

Overall, wine tasting is always an amazing experience when you’re with good people! Niagara-on-the-lake is such a beautiful place, definitely enjoy all it has to offer, from wineries to restaurants and attractions!
