If you are vegan or sensitive to dairy like I am, check out Whimsy Street Treats! I was put on to this place by some of my best friends and there was no going back! It has become one of my go-to spots for a light, refreshing scoop of ice cream! It is located in Downtown GeorgeTown, in Ontario. There are so many great snacks at this spot, in addition to the vegan ice cream (which we will talk more about later) it has tub ice cream as well with all kinds of cool flavours, such as lavender lemonade and captain cyclone! These tub ice creams are not dairy free but for anyone that enjoys a creamer ice cream definitely give these a try!
There are also classic soft serve options at all times, both vanilla and chocolate! Also included in their soft serve machine is the vegan soft serve options! These vegan dairy-free options are always changing and are the real outstanding must try item in my opinion! There are so many varying flavours, there is something new each time I visit. I’ve tried strawberry, peach, creme brulee, taro, lime, pineapple, and I’m sure there are many more, and they are all vegan! There is no guarantee what flavour you’ll get of the vegan soft serve but it adds to the adventure! My personal favourite is the lime but there hasn’t been a flavour that disappointed me yet! They have all been amazing and refreshing!
After choosing what kind of ice cream you want, there are many toppings to choose from! There are sprinkles, cookie crumbles, coconut shreds, brownie pieces and different types of sauces and much more! If ice cream isn’t your preferred choice of dessert, there are delicious donuts to indulge in as well! The donuts sell quickly so definitely pre order on their website!
I love this ice cream spot so much! I can’t wait to return and see what new flavours of vegan soft serve they have next time! See you there!
