There are so many long term damages that come from having your skin exposed to the sun! With the harmful rays from the sun, computer, television and more that cause so much effects on our skin, there is an essential need to use SPF every day! Sunscreen has so many benefits but there are some downfalls, it leaves a white residue and tint and it can be oily or drying! Here are some of my favourite sunscreens that work for my skin type and that I reach for everyday!
Juice Beauty SPF 30
This has been one of my favourite everyday sunscreens, it does have a very earthy and organic scent to it but it fades after it absorbs into the skin. It has a light beige tint but it isn’t very prominent, it is more white to invisible when rubbed into the skin! I have loved this sunscreen for everyday use for over two years, it is oil-free so it layers great under make-up and doesn’t leave any white residue or build up!
VICHY Ultra-Fluid Lotion SPF 30
This sunscreen is definitely the most weightless! It is so light and thin that it is almost water like, and has a very fast absorbing formula! I love wearing this sunscreen under makeup because it doesn’t have any flash black, white cast or oily residue! If you like a full hydrating sunscreen then I would pass on this one but if you like your SPF sheer and lightweight this is for you!
Garnier Green Labs – Brightening Serum Cream SPF 30
This is an amazing and efficient product, it is a serum, moisturizer and SPF in one! On days that I need to speed up my morning skincare routine this product is my go-to! It is perfect when paired with the brightening cleanser from the same line! It does contain vitamin c, when using vitamin c it is imperative to follow up with a SPF, and this product has it all wrapped up in one!
Dermalogica Prisma Protect SPF 30
This SPF is definitely on the higher end, although it does have a larger price tag, a little goes a long way! It has the perfect consistency, it doesn’t feel too heavy, sticky or oily, it has a lightweight yet hydrating formula which makes it perfect for everyday use! This is a splurge that is well worth it!
VICHY Ultra-light Refreshing Lotion SPF 60
This is a lightweight SPF that has a bit more protection than the others mentioned on this list, it does have a slightly oily texture to it, however it is very long lasting, this is the SPF that I always reach for when I’m going to the beach or on a hike! It is a very large tube as well, this will definitely last you a long time!
OLAY Mineral SPF 30
When there are mineral elements included in an SPF, it can change the texture of the product completely, while this SPF does have a slightly different texture to the others on this list, it still is very fast absorbing, has no white cast or residue!
