I was so excited to have places like restaurants and eating areas open up again, but for anyone that wants really good, restaurant quality food but isn’t quite comfortable with being in that setting yet, then this spot is for you!
This unique pizza spot has a few locations in and around the GTA. I visited the North York location and I had such high hopes after seeing it all over social media! The location was a little tough to find because it is a bit tucked away, it is actually connected to a carwash! There is a fair bit of parking which is great because this is not a sit down restaurant!
Like I said, if you want amazing pizza but still are into takeout this is the place for you! Maker pizza is a spot that is completely takeout! You can download their app prior to order ahead of time and have it ready for you when you get there! We waited to arrive there, then to place our order because it was our first time visiting and we weren’t too familiar with the menu!
They have the menu on the app and they have a physical menu, there is a covered section where you can see the menu and place your order! This area is decked out with the signature yellow colour and a lot of little details, such as, a wall that has the writing ‘and on the seventh day, God ordered Maker’ it was a great and unique touch!
There was so much on the menu and it was so hard to decide what to get! There were different red pizzas like a margherita, the hot wheel made with many different types of peppers and the tropic thunder, which we got! The Tropic Thunder pizza has chili infused pineapple, pickled jalapeños, pickled red onion and much more! It was so tasty and had the right amount of sweet and spice!
There were also white sauce pizzas like the So Mushroom pizza made with basil, cremini mushrooms, organic mozzarella, mascarpone, fresh garlic and more! I will definitely be trying that pizza next time. There are also wings, different appetizers and salads!
After ordering, we waited in the car for about 20 mins before our order was ready! It was hot and fresh! I can’t wait to return and try out some more items from here because the pizza was so delicious!
