If you are looking for a quick spot to get out and get some fresh air, this may be the place for you! The lookout is located in Hamilton Ontario, and while Hamilton is known for its waterfalls, it can be dangerous and/or closed during the winter! This spot offers some amazing views all year round!
There is a small to average sized parking lot that is just a few steps away from the look out. The lookout varies on views and platforms throughout! There are amazing views of the city skyline and enough room to social distance and take in some fresh air! The first bit of the walk has a few trees obstructing the view, after a short walk (from the spot where we parked) there was a larger viewing area with a rock garden and uninterrupted views!
There is a long walkway, you can walk all the way across and take in the views of the city, I would recommend visiting during the day as it does not seem like a well monitored spot! There is another parking lot located on the other side of the park that is connected to the rock garden as well!
This spot is really beautiful in the winter, and is a great spot for a walk in the summer! If you are looking to go somewhere, check out this lookout, just remember to be safe, social distance and wear a mask!
