I’m a huge Starbucks fan, and when I heard that there was a special Starbucks Reserve in the GTA, I had to visit! It’s located in North York at the Don Mills Shopping area! There is lots of parking, and when I visited there wasn’t a line up! There was a very sleek and unique look to this Starbucks, there were huge doors that opened to the inside! After visiting the Chicago location, which is 10 times bigger, I have to say I wish this reserve location had some of the food options that the Chicago one did! At the Toronto location there were only the same food items carried in all other Starbucks!
There were some specialty cups, coffee blends, souvenirs, and other items that were branded with the Starbucks Reserve Roastery logo! But my advice would be to get the novelty cups that they give you with purchase (if they have them in stock), they are really cute and durable! When I visited they only had the novelty cups in the large size (venti)!
There are a few specialty items that they offer, like the Hazelnut Bianco Latte, which I got! There are also different kinds of Affogato Ice Cream! I decided on the Hazelnut Bianco Latte, however it was a really warm day, so I got it iced! I really like the flavour of vanilla, so I added a few shots of vanilla just for taste!
The service was so fast, and the guy taking our order was so sweet, he helped me decide what was the best option for me and what from their specialty menu would be suited to my liking! After ordering our drinks, I was prepared to wait a while because it was a specialty drink, but service was so quick, I waited a maximum of 5 mins, and it was such a great quick visit. There are also a few patio tables right outside if you want to sit outside and enjoy!
