Las Vegas, is a city that never sleeps, and that is truly on display with its array of different dining spots and experiences. From high-end restaurants to quick bites, the options are endless. Here are some of the must-try spots in Las Vegas that cater to every palate and budget.
Lavo Italian Restaurant & Lounge
Location:The Palazzo
Cuisine: Italian
Lavo Italian Restaurant & Lounge offers a stylish setting perfect for both intimate dinners and lively gatherings. Known for its signature one-pound meatball topped with whipped ricotta, Lavo serves up classic Italian dishes with a contemporary twist. I opted for a pizza, and it was great, while it wasn’t the best food I had during my time in Vegas, the atmosphere and amazing service made it a memorable experience!

Tao Asian Bistro
Location: The Venetian Resort
Cuisine: Asian Fusion
When it comes to combining nightlife and fine dining, Tao Asian Bistro stands in a league of its own. Located in the Venetian Resort, Tao offers an ambiance of Asian opulence with its stunning decor, including giant Buddha statues! The menu is an exotic blend of Chinese, Japanese, and Thai flavors. Signature dishes like the Crispy Orange Chicken and Thai Chicken Lettuce Wraps are crowd favorites. While the portion size is not the largest it is definitely tasty, order generously and enjoy their food and drinks! I had the Nirvana cocktail made with Tequila, Passionfruit, Ginger, Cold-Pressed Lime, Thai Chili, and Red Bull, it was so good, and refreshing!

Chayo Mexican Kitchen + Tequila Bar
Location: The LINQ Promenade
Cuisine: Mexican
For a taste of vibrant Mexican cuisine coupled with a lively atmosphere, Chayo Mexican Kitchen + Tequila Bar is the place to be. Located on The LINQ Promenade, Chayo offers a great dining experience with its extensive tequila menu and delicious Mexican dishes. I had Chayo Quesadilla with chicken, and I was not disappointed in the slightest, it was full of flavour! We also indulged in a pitcher of Pineapple Habanero Margaritas that had pineapple & habanero infused cazadores blanco tequila, triple sec, lime juice, pineapple juice, and agave nectar. It was amazing and a great way to beat the Vegas heat!

Raising Cane’s Chicken
Location: On the Vegas Strip
Cuisine: Fast Food – American
Raising Cane’s is a well known spot for quick bites. Known for its simple yet highly satisfying menu, Raising Cane’s focuses on what it does best: chicken fingers. The chicken is always tender and juicy, complemented by their famous Cane’s Sauce, crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast, and coleslaw. It’s a good choice for a quick bite, however in my opinion they fall short in the flavour department, the signature sauce really is the star of the show here!

Taco Bell Cantina
Location: 3717 Las Vegas Blvd S
Cuisine: Fast Food – Mexican
Taco Bell Cantina takes the beloved fast-food chain to the next level with its flagship location on the Las Vegas Strip. This isn’t your typical Taco Bell. The Cantina features an extended menu with exclusive items, an open kitchen, and a vibrant atmosphere. What sets it apart is the addition of alcoholic beverages, including custom frozen cocktails. It’s a great spot for a quick, affordable meal with a twist of Vegas flair.
